Deskripsi Pekerjaan:
Responsibilities:
- Understand the local HS codes and import regulations of the country to ensure compliance before initiating any shipments.
- Maintain up-to-date international testing standards, regulatory specifications, and approval standards for all major product categories, including F&B, Household, Medical, Appliances, Floor Cleaning, Toys, Electrical, Cosmetic, Packaging and more.
- Communicate compliance information to the Global Product Compliance team for alignment.
- Collaborate with the Local Import team to resolve any issues during the importation process.
- Contact third-party consultants for product compliance, obtaining quotations, and lead times for approvals.
- Manage and maintain a tracking log for all compliance regulatory safety certificates, licenses, permits, and related documents.
- Provide and endorse supporting certificates for approval by relevant parties.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates and address any issues needing resolution.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation to relevant authorities as required.
- Track and analyze compliance performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth communication and compliance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to product compliance.
- Report compliance progress to the Manager as needed.
- Monitor and report on legislative changes, advising management on the impact of evolving regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a superior.
Kualifikasi:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any related field and min. 2 years of experience.
- Good understanding of local regulations and compliance obligations, Customs operation and HS codes knowledge.
- Familiar and experience in working with 3rd party agencies and within ISO or product compliance environment.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multitasking and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
