Responsibilities:

• Keep abreast of local, national, and international regulations pertinent to the company's products.
• Maintain up-to-date international testing standards, regulatory specifications, and approval standards for all major product categories, including F&B, Household, Medical, Appliances, Floor Cleaning, Toys, Electrical, Cosmetic, Packaging and more.
• Verify product compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards aligning with local rules and regulations.
• Devising and executing strategies to ensure product compliance with legal and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the import department and legal divisions, to align product compliance efforts with business objectives.
• Oversee the creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to regulatory affairs and compliance.
• Maintain accurate databases with updated records of product compliance activities and documentation.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Cultivate relationships with testing laboratories, certification bodies, and local authorities.
• Assess gap analyses to ensure alignment with new or revised laws, regulations, and industry standards, actively leading strategy development and implementation in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments for new products and modifications, identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Deliver training and education on compliance issues and requirements to employees.
• Provide guidance to business and stakeholders on compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Promote a culture of compliance across the organization.
• Evaluate suppliers and vendors for compliance, ensuring their products meet company standards and legal requirements.
• Plan and execute internal audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
• Assist external auditors or regulatory authorities during inspections.
• Lead, motivate, support, and coach team members.

Kualifikasi:

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and product compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance roles within similar industries, with a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
• Strong project management abilities, including organizing, prioritizing, multitasking, managing deadlines, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), capable of conveying technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Effective leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and achieve objectives.
• Proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Detail-oriented approach, committed to accuracy and thoroughness in all compliance-related activities.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in people management.
