Deskripsi Pekerjaan:

1. Upgrade enterprise Linux servers to the latest version (in-place / build and migrate) without disrupting operations.
2. Develop and execute upgrade runbooks, including testing and validation procedures.
3. Coordinate with internal and business stakeholders to schedule upgrades during the maintenance windows.
4. Document all processes and procedures related to the upgrades.
5. Provide post-upgrade support and troubleshooting as necessary.

Kualifikasi:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of Linux System Administrator experienced.
3. Ready to join immediately or 1st August 2024.
4. Willing to sign 3 months contract
5. Willing to work onsite from Client Office at TB Simatupang South Jakarta.
6. Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role.
7. Proficient in administering SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP environments. Knowledge in different flavour of Linux is a plus.
8. Demonstrated experience in performing in-place upgrades of Linux servers.
9. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation of upgrade processes.
10. Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
11. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues related to server upgrades.
12. Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Linux (e.g., LPIC, RHCSA, SUSE Certified Administrator).
2. Experience in managing large-scale server environments.
3. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
4. Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
5. Familiarity with enterprise backup and recovery tools (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik).

Additional Information:

1. This position is project-based and requires onsite work at client office as necessary.
2. Candidates must be available to start on August 2024 and commit to completing the project within the designated timeframe.
