Deskripsi Pekerjaan:

Venture-backed Miami based tech startup seeking an experienced Remote Frontend Developer. GoTu Technologies Inc. is a deep work platform that connects licensed dental professionals with dental offices in need of temporary & full time help through an on-demand web and mobile platform (think Uber for staffing).

Responsibilities include:

• Actively cooperate with your Scrum team consisting of Fullstack/Backend Engineers, QA, Product Designer and a Product Manager (sometimes Android/iOS Engineers) in the US
• Build and maintain multiple tools in ReactJS and React Native
• Work with designers, product managers, and engineers to design impactful products from design, development, testing, and deployment of the solution
• Assist backend developers in coding and troubleshooting
• Perform and uphold code best practices based from company’s standards
• Produce high-quality code that raises the bar for all engineering team members
• Review and improve web applications for performance and scalability
• Perform quality assurance/debugging procedures to provide a secure and functional delivery
• Implement testing protocols for managing successful deployments across development, staging, and production environments
• Research novel solutions to nuanced and often unchartered engineering challenges
• Analyze and resolve technical and application issues
• Recommend system solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchasing alternatives as well as sharing your opinion and ideas during Scrum Events, Tech meetings, or simply in Slack channels.

Kualifikasi:

Key Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• Knowledgeable in the full development life cycle using Agile or another development framework
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Advanced knowledge and experience in ReactJS and React Native
• Knowledge of basic visual and user experience principles
• Experience in building pixel-perfect design implementation
• Experience with native mobile platforms iOS and/or Android
• Self-starter, have strong troubleshooting skills and the desire to seek the root cause of issues
• Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback, in the interest of mentorship and self-improvement, demonstrating excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration 
• Excel at approving and delivering customer-ready products
• Enjoying continuous learning and getting new skills in order to be better at software development
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
