Deskripsi Pekerjaan:

The Export-Import Specialist at PT. MOP INDONESIA CORP is responsible for managing the entire process of importing and exporting products. This role includes handling all necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating logistics, and monitoring shipments. The specialist will work closely with various internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth and efficient import and export operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of international trade practices and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Handling:
• Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation for import and export activities, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, purchase orders, bills of lading, and custom invoices.
• Draft, issue, and verify Letters of Credit and other payment instruments such as T/T Remittance and Bank Guarantees.
• Ensure all documents are in compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
• Process Management:
• Oversee the entire import and export process, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate contract reviews for client parts and information, entering relevant data into job shop systems.
• Shipment Tracking and Communication:
• Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
• Communicate effectively in writing or verbally with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Organize and coordinate transportation, warehousing of local and imported shipments, and freight and trucking schedules.
• Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Financial Transactions and Compliance:
• Manage financial aspects related to import and export activities, including maintaining purchase order payments and ensuring timely release of shipments.
• Analyze import and export data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement.
• Specialized Responsibilities:
• Handle specific tasks related to ocean import coordination, including processing freight shipments into Indonesia and managing notifications of arrival and charges.

Kualifikasi:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in import and export operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade laws, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in drafting and handling financial documents such as Letters of Credit.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Bahasa and English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
