BACKEND ENGINEER

KarirLab is an early-stage startup incubated at Yale University searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a newly founded business.

We’re specifically looking for a Back-End Developer who will roll up their sleeves and help the founders and team from inside the trenches. You'll be working directly with a small core team of ex-MBB consulting firms and Southeast Asian unicorns.

Obyektif dan Tanggung Jawab

• Contribute to back-end development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability, and performance, helping with full stack projects as necessary
• Have ownership over your tasks and projects, collaborating with both technical team members and non-technical stakeholders.
• Add and improve our test coverage in our end-to-end, integration, and unit test suites
• Optimize application performance (time and resources used) while taking care of scalability
• Deliver projects within agreed deadlines

Kualifikasi

• Experience with a web framework like Laravel
• Experience building web using Go
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience in using cloud databases (GCP/AWS)
• In-depth understanding of JavaScript and DOM
• In-depth understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL (AWS RDS)
• Experience in designing, building, and owning end-to-end development is preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines
