Associate - Advisory Deals (Business Recovery Services)

Objective:

A career within Deals Business Recovery Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our clients survive an imminent crisis or simply fix gaps in their organization. We help clients, reduce balance sheet stress, generate cash and reduce costs or refinance to find the best source of capital to support their business objectives. Whatever the solution, we help them manage challenges until the job is done.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
• Prepare deliverables
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand
• Be part of team which advises State owned Enterprises, multinational, and Indonesia companies in M&A, fund raising, debt/corporate restructuring, transaction structuring, and project feasibility assessment.
• Responsible for the management and execution of challenging assignments in accordance with our Firm’s high delivery standards
• Assist in identification and conversion of opportunities in order to further grow our business
• Based in Jakarta with the possibility of traveling throughout Indonesia and also overseas depending upon project requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge consistent with discipline requirements; accounting concept and financial statement analysis
• Strong project management skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong in financial modeling skill/knowledge
• Strong in business valuation knowledge/concept with multiple methodologies
• Should have exposure in lead advisory role
• Bachelor/master degree from reputable universities with minimum GPA 3.00 of 4.00
• Excellent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• CFA and/or CPA and/or equivalent professional qualifications will be advantageous
• Fresh graduate - 2 years professional experience in major financial advisory firm
